Greg knew he had to get home. That was important. That was his mission.
So why couldn't he remember anything else?
Well, wherever he was now wasn't home.
Greg was in a large room. He could details because of the sporadic moonlight that came through the wall high window behind him. Trees rustled against the glass, blocking any details of what lay outside the building. One beam of moonlight shone on a set of small, red double doors.
Greg had opened the doors five minutes ago (or was it five weeks ago?) for a quick peek. It opened onto a small landing. Stairs in one direction went up and went down on the other.
He paced a little and then came to a decision. Obviously, this wasn't home so he had to find home.
Greg pushed open the doors and went...

  1. up.
  2. down.
