The Persistence of Deja Vu : Once Again [page 2]

The millenia had begun to wear upon the ancient Traveler. It had seen much, and done much. It had witnessed the plights of many.

During its travels, it had seen one such unfortunate, who called himself Scott, amongst other things. This unfortunate had been flung upon the winds of fortune, tossed about at the whims of the cosmos. Some of his misadventures had made the Traveler chuckle, but in the end, it had to pity the unfortunate for his utter helplessness against his fate.

And yet, the Norns, ancient crones of chance and destiny, had done it once again. They conspired to entrap another individual within their web of possibilities. The Traveler could only shake his head as he saw them descend upon this new one, this new unfortunate. He did not act though, such was the fate the Norns had handed him long ago. He could only watch.

  2. The Norns entrap the one who calls himself Andrew, a man of science, for their twisted games
