Greg had been there for a while. His girlfriend was cheating on him and he needed to confront her about it. Earlier that morning, he had gone to her apartment building. The elevator was busted so he decided to climb the stairs. He stopped on the 13th floor and tried to decide if he should still continue. He thought: She's on the 17th floor and I'm on the 13th floor. That gives me 3 more chances to change my... "Hey, wait a minute! I thought buildings didn't have 13th floors. Don't they usually skip it and make it the 14th floor instead?" he finally said. The situation was starting to get weird. Maybe it was a bad omen.

  1. He forgets about it and goes up the stairs to talk to his girlfriend.
  2. He goes down the stairs and wonders what else would happen.
