"You will never defeat me!" it says. It is a large ... "Thing" too evil too describe in words. You are helpless against the... "Thing". It has a choking grip on your throat, yet it isn't anywhere near you. The Thing throws you into a fiery pit. You scream a deafening scream as you plummet to your doom....

You wake up. What just happened couldn't have been a dream. It was too real. You can't remember much of anything, although you do remember the Thing. You can't remember why it wants to kill you, but you know there is a reason. You look around the tiny room. You are in a dark, damp room with stone walls. The only exit seems to be a staircase.
- You go up the stairs, venturing into the unknown
- You go down the stairs, trying to find a way out.
